Position Title: Bookkeeper
Reports to: President
Compensation: Hourly Wage, Part-time
Position Concept:This position maintains financial systems and provides financial reports to the President.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Processes receipts and invoices, verifying information, and preparing bank deposits
- Maintains current status on cash, payables, accounts receivables and year-to-date contributions
- Prepares financial statements
- Gathers expense information needed to prepare annual budget
- Assists with developing cash flow projections
- Maintains awareness and compliance fo Junior Achivement USA, reporting deadlines
- Schedules and coordinates annual audit by CPA firm
- Oversees insurance policies such as workman's compensation, property and casualty, program and liability insurance
- Other duties as assigned
Accounting/Experience Required/Desired:
- Accounting experience required
- High School Diploma required
- Qiuckbooks software preferred
- Strong oral/written communication skills

Position Title: Marketing and Development Intern
Reports to: Events & Grant Manager and Development Manager
Position Concept:
The successful candidate will assist staff with the following projects and events:
- Marketing Junior Achievement with emphasis on website and social media
- Special event assistance for JA fundraising events with particular focus on the Free Enterprise Invitational
- Will oversee the Free Enterprise Invitational raffle and will secure raffle prizes
- Creative development of flyers and other promotional pieces
- Projects as assigned for Adopt A School and other Development opportunities
- Updating Adopt A School promotional pieces
- Updating Adopt A School prospects for service counties
Requirements:
- Should be interested in a career in marketing or related field
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have means of transportation
- Ability to work independently
- Detail oriented
- Understanding and utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint

Position Title: Program Intern
Reports to: Program Manager
Position Concept:
The successful candidate will assist staff with the following projects supporting the Programs Department:
- Fact finding/research for the 50th Anniversary for Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana
- Will assist with researching and tracking down JA Alumni
- Will assist with researching other JA anniversary events and celebrations
- Responsible for rebuilding/recyling projects for JA Program kits
- Compile current teacher and school contact lists
- Assist with data entry for Pre- and Post-test data
- Attend any possible networking meetings/events (i.e. Rotaract, Rotary, ANEW
Requirements:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have means of transportation
- Ability to work independently
- Detail oriented
- Understanding and utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access
