Our Vision

Evansville’s Regional Business Hall of Fame, presented by the Evansville Business Journal (EBJ), is a prominent event recognizing community leaders who exemplify the three pillars of Junior Achievement’s model of success: understanding of financial literacy, promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship and free enterprise, and having a strong work ethic, dedicated to support work readiness and preparedness programs.

Individuals are nominated for outstanding civic and business contributions to the Southwestern Indiana area. The Evansville’s Regional Business Hall of Fame seeks to recognize individuals for business excellence, vision, innovations, inspiring leadership, courageous thinking and actions, and community service in the greater Evansville area. The selected individuals, known as laureates, are selected by Junior Achievement’s Business Hall of Fame Committee, and are recognized at the annual event held each March.

This year's event will take place on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 7am at The Centre.

As reported on November 16, 2011 in the Evansville Courier & Press publication, the Evansville’s Regional Business Hall of Fame highlights business leaders who can serve as inspiration for others, particularly young people.“There are very successful people here that they can look to,” said Luke Yaeger, a Junior Achievement board member and the chairman of the Business Hall of Fame committee.
